“Union for Justice”: (106) Palestinians Killed by Occupation Gunfire During Last February, the Majority in the Gaza Strip

2/3/2026 – Union for Justice Foundation

The “Union for Justice Foundation” stated that the Israeli occupation forces killed last February (106) Palestinians, (99) in the Gaza Strip and (7) in the West Bank.

It noted that these figures do not include martyrs whose bodies are recovered months after their martyrdom, nor do they include other martyrs killed by Israeli forces in areas they still control, which constitute approximately 60% of the Gaza Strip’s area, and which are difficult for Palestinian medical teams to access.

The Foundation affirmed that the occupation government continues to violate the ceasefire reached on 11 October last year under international auspices, through the ongoing bombardment of the Strip with warplanes, drones, tank artillery, and sniper fire. Since that date, the number of martyrs has reached 629, while the number of injured has exceeded 1,693.

Meanwhile, the number of Palestinian martyrs since 7 October 2023 until the end of last February has reached (72,096) martyrs and more than (171,791) thousand wounded, while thousands of bodies remain under the rubble and destroyed buildings.

It added: “Despite the ceasefire agreement, the occupying state still considers itself to have free rein in the Gaza Strip and carries out assassinations and direct killings of Palestinians on a daily basis, amid the absence of any genuine role for the states sponsoring and guaranteeing this agreement.”

Martyrs of the Prisoners’ Movement

The “Union for Justice Foundation” indicated that last February witnessed the announcement of the martyrdom of a prisoner in occupation prisons, namely the martyred prisoner Hatem Ismail Rayan (59) years old from the Gaza Strip, who died in Negev Prison. It is noted that he had been detained since 27/12/2024, having been abducted from Kamal Adwan Hospital along with his injured son, Muath, who remains in the same detention facility to this day.

With Rayan’s martyrdom, the number of martyrs of the prisoners’ movement whose identities have been announced since the beginning of the war rises to 88 martyrs, including 52 detainees from Gaza, bringing the total number of martyrs of the prisoners’ movement since 1967 to 325 martyrs, who are only those whose identities are known to the institutions.

Martyrs of the West Bank

In the West Bank, and according to the monitoring of the “Union for Justice,” Israeli forces killed (7) citizens, (3) of whom were martyred near the apartheid wall while attempting to enter the areas occupied in 1948 for the purpose of work. They are: Omar Zuhair Manee’a (20) years old, Mohammed Kamal Shreim (18) years old, both from the city of Qalqilya, and the martyr Tamer Ismail Qaisiyeh (19) years old from the town of Al-Dhahiriya in the Hebron district.

Since 7 October 2023, the occupation authorities have prevented hundreds of thousands of Palestinian workers from entering the areas occupied in 1948 for work, forcing hundreds of them to infiltrate through openings and gaps in the separation wall—areas that have turned into points of death and execution for Palestinians seeking a livelihood.

The young man Saeed Nayel Saeed Al-Sheikh (24) years old from the city of Jericho was also martyred after occupation soldiers opened fire on him, as was the child Mohammed Wahbi Abdul Aziz Hanani (17) years old from the town of Beit Furik east of Nablus after occupation soldiers opened fire on him. A child (of unknown identity) from the Jordan Valley area, aged (13), was also martyred as a result of the explosion of a suspicious object left behind by the Israeli army in the Faroush Beit Dajan area east of the city of Nablus.

In the Jordan Valley areas in particular, where occupation soldiers conduct daily training exercises, the soldiers deliberately leave unexploded ordnance with the intent of harming citizens who move in those areas and practice the professions of herding and farming. Over the past years, dozens of citizens have been martyred and injured as a result of military remnants left behind by the Israeli army.

In last February, the young man Nasrallah Mohammed Jamal Abu Siam (19) years old from the village of Mikhmas northeast of the city of Jerusalem was martyred by settler gunfire, bringing the number of martyrs who have fallen to settler gunfire since 7 October 2023 to 37 martyrs, (15) of whom fell during last year 2025.

The “Union for Justice Foundation” affirms that the Israeli occupation authorities, despite the announcement of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, continue to practice and employ killing and genocide in service of political objectives aimed at disrupting the demographic balance in historic Palestine and pushing Palestinians to consider emigration under the weight of the continued killing machine.

The “Union for Justice” believes that the occupying state’s continued adoption of this bloody policy would not have persisted were it not for American and Western support, Arab and Islamic silence, and the absence of international accountability mechanisms for Israel regarding its ongoing violations of human rights charters.
