(339) Since the Beginning of the Current Year

“Union for Justice”: The Occupation Killed (105) Palestinians During Last March, the Majority from the Gaza Strip

03/04/2026 – Union for Justice Foundation

The Union for Justice Foundation stated that Israeli occupation forces killed (105) Palestinians in March, (80) in the Gaza Strip and (25) in the West Bank.

Noting that these figures do not include martyrs whose bodies are recovered in the Gaza Strip months after their martyrdom, nor do they include other martyrs killed by Israeli forces in areas that remain under its control, which constitute approximately 60% of the Gaza Strip and are difficult for Palestinian medical teams to access.

The foundation indicated that the number of Palestinian martyrs rose during the first quarter of the current year to (339), including (300) from the Gaza Strip, (38) from the West Bank, and one from the occupied Palestinian interior.

It added: “The occupation government continues to violate the ceasefire reached on 11 October last year under international auspices, through ongoing bombardment of the Gaza Strip using warplanes, drones, tank artillery, and sniper fire, where the number of martyrs since that date has reached 709, while the number of injured has exceeded 1,928.”

Meanwhile, the number of Palestinian martyrs since 7 October 2023 until the end of last March has reached (72,285), with more than (172,028) injured, while thousands of bodies remain under the rubble and destroyed buildings.

The Union for Justice stressed that despite the ceasefire agreement, the occupying state continues to consider itself free to act in the Gaza Strip and carries out assassinations and direct killings of Palestinians on a daily basis, amid the absence of any real role by the states sponsoring and guaranteeing the agreement and international preoccupation with the war on Iran.

Targeting of Police in Gaza

During last March, the occupation intensified its bombardment and assassination operations targeting Palestinian police personnel in the Gaza Strip. The Union for Justice documented three incidents targeting police vehicles and locations where police personnel were present, resulting in the martyrdom of more than (15) police personnel.

The foundation affirms that the targeting of Palestinian police in Gaza aims to undermine one of the factors of stability in the Strip and to provoke chaos and lawlessness, as these personnel contribute to maintaining security by pursuing collaborators of the occupation, monopolizing traders, and anyone attempting to take the law into their own hands.

Martyrs of the Prisoner Movement

The Union for Justice indicated that last March witnessed the announcement of the martyrdom of a detainee in Israeli prisons, namely the martyr detainee and journalist Marwan Fathi Hussein Harzallah (54) from the city of Nablus, who was martyred in Megiddo Prison on 28/03/2026 as a result of medical negligence, noting that he was an administrative detainee on the grounds of what the occupation claims to be “incitement.”

With the martyrdom of Harzallah, the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement whose identities have been announced since the beginning of the war rises to 89, including 52 detainees from Gaza. This brings the total number of martyrs of the prisoner movement since 1967 to 326, limited to those whose identities are known to institutions.

Martyrs of the West Bank

In the West Bank, and according to monitoring by the Union for Justice, Israeli forces killed (25) Palestinians last month: (6) from Nablus Governorate, (5) from Ramallah and Al-Bireh, (4) from Hebron, (4) from Tubas, (4) from Jerusalem, and one each from Bethlehem and Jenin.

During March, (8) Palestinians were martyred during attacks and assaults carried out by settlers against Palestinian villages and towns, marking the highest monthly toll of martyrs falling in a single month since 7 October 2023.

Israeli undercover Forces Execute a Family in Tammun

During last month, in one of the most horrific execution incidents witnessed in the West Bank in recent years, Israeli undercover forces opened fire on a vehicle in the town of Tammun (Tubas Governorate), carrying a Palestinian family consisting of parents and their five children. This resulted in the martyrdom of the parents: Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odeh (37) and his wife Waad Othman Aql Bani Odeh (35), and their two children, Othman (7) and Mohammed (5). Their two other children, Mustafa (8) and Khaled (11), were injured by shrapnel in the head and face.

The Union for Justice affirms that Israeli occupation authorities practice and employ killing and genocide, whether in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip to serve political objectives aimed at disrupting the demographic balance in historic Palestine and pushing Palestinians to consider migration under the pressure of the ongoing killing machine.

The Union for Justice further holds that the continuation of the occupying state in adopting this bloody policy would not have been possible without American and Western support, Arab and Islamic silence, and the absence of international accountability mechanisms holding Israel responsible for its ongoing violations of human rights conventions.
