During April 2025
Israeli occupation forces and Israeli settlers continued to commit crimes and violations of human rights and international humanitarian law against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank during April 2025, including killings, destruction of public and private property, arrests, threats, and other crimes and violations. The number of violations in the West Bank and Jerusalem reached (6,317) violations.
The Israeli killing machine continued targeting Palestinians, killing (18) citizens in the West Bank and Jerusalem during the past month, while the number of the injured reached (205) by the fire of the occupation forces and its settlers, including women, children, and the elderly. Meanwhile, the number of shooting incidents carried out by the occupation soldiers and settlers reached (333) incidents.
The military operation carried out by the Israeli occupation army since January 21 continued, as the military operation in Jenin city and its camp, after 100 days of invasion, resulted in the martyrdom of 43 Palestinians by the end of March, and the displacement of 21,000 Palestinians, equivalent to 92% of the camp’s population, who were forced to leave their homes fleeing the bombing and destruction, in addition to the destruction of 3,250 housing units either completely, partially, or by burning, and losses estimated at 310 million dollars, according to Jenin Municipality.
The camps and damaged neighborhoods also witness an almost complete cut in water and electricity, in addition to a severe shortage in food and basic needs for children, which warns of a serious humanitarian catastrophe. The siege and military escalation also led to the suspension of schools and health services in the camp, which increases the suffering of thousands of families who found themselves in a catastrophic living situation. On the field level, 326 Palestinians were arrested and dozens subjected to field investigation. The occupation forces carried out 874 raids on Palestinian homes, in addition to 15 airstrikes that targeted various sites inside the city and the camp.
In Tulkarm city and its camps, (13) martyrs rose as a result of bombardment and ongoing clashes, amid a worsening humanitarian catastrophe with every day that passes of the continuous military invasion.
In light of the ongoing military escalation, about 25,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, as the number of displaced from Tulkarm camp reached about 12,000 people, while 13,000 others were displaced from Nur Shams camp, meaning that about 95% of the population of the two camps were forcibly displaced to towns and villages of Tulkarm governorate.
The Israeli attacks did not stop at targeting people, but extended to infrastructure in Tulkarm and the two camps, where the occupation forces carried out widespread demolitions and destruction, and prevented municipal and civil defense crews from opening roads and repairing what was destroyed by the aggression. All essential services, including electricity, water, and communications, were cut off from the residents of the two camps, which increased their daily suffering.
In one of the most violent campaigns targeting Palestinian homes and facilities, the occupation forces demolished or destroyed 680 homes and facilities, and 2,573 partially, in Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, in a clear policy aimed at displacing residents and changing the demographic reality in the area. The occupation also continued to carry out intensive arrest campaigns, during which 312 Palestinians were arrested during the invasion, in addition to 1,113 raids on civilian homes in the camps and the city of Tulkarm.
The Israeli occupation forces carried out (1,287) incursions and raids into cities, camps, towns, and villages of the West Bank during last March, where they stormed many residential homes, vandalized their contents, destroyed many belongings, abused residents, and arrested (899) Palestinians.
During their repeated incursions carried out in the cities and camps of the West Bank, the occupation forces and settlers demolished (220) homes and facilities, including (78) homes that were completely destroyed.
