“Union for Justice”: Nine Palestinians Martyred by Settler Gunfire Since the Beginning of the Year

March 30, 2026 – Union for Justice Foundation

The Union for Justice Foundation stated that the bloody attacks carried out daily by Israeli settlers against Palestinian villages and towns have resulted, since the beginning of the year 2026, in the martyrdom of nine Palestinian civilians.

The Foundation noted that 15 Palestinians were martyred by settler gunfire during the year 2025, while the number has risen to 44 since October 7, 2023.

It explained that eight of these were martyred since the beginning of the Israeli–U.S. aggression against Iran on February 28, indicating that settler militias are exploiting the international and media preoccupation with the war, which has allowed them to carry out more attacks and impose new facts on the ground.

The Foundation stressed that the ease with which settlers open fire on unarmed Palestinians would not have been possible without the protection provided by Israeli occupation soldiers to those settlers, in addition to an Israeli judicial system that shows indifference when the victim is Palestinian, and an extremist Israeli government that has supplied settlers with weapons and military equipment.

The Foundation added: “It is also noted that settler attacks in the West Bank have recently expanded, reaching new Palestinian villages and towns that were not previously targeted and are relatively distant from settlements and illegal outposts. These attacks have also become more bloody and violent.

The Union for Justice Foundation emphasized that the Israeli army’s claims of its intention to establish a unit to confront settler terrorism in the West Bank, and to allocate a budget of 130 million shekels over the coming years, constitute an attempt by the Israeli government to evade its responsibility for the attacks carried out by settlers in light of increasing international criticism.

The Foundation affirmed that confronting settler attacks by the Israeli army does not require funds, budgets, or special units, but rather political will, which does not appear to be available at this stage.

The statementcontinued: “On the contrary, the current extremist Israeli government has turned settlers into a blunt instrument against Palestinians with the aim of forcing them to migrate and abandon their homes.”

Recently, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that attacks against Palestinians are carried out by a small group of “angry youths,” and that they come from within the Green Line to the West Bank.

The Union for Justice Foundation affirmed that these claims are false and are refuted by reality and by the daily attacks carried out by thousands of settlers residing in settlements established on Palestinian land in the West Bank.

The Union for Justice Foundation published the following list of the names of the nine martyrs who fell as a result of settler gunfire and attacks since the beginning of the year 2026:
