Union for Justice: 15 Palestinians Killed by Israeli Forces in the West Bank During October
3/11/2025 – Union for Justice Organization
The Union for Justice Organization stated that Israeli forces continue to implement a policy of killing Palestinians—whether through individual killings in the West Bank or large-scale killings in the Gaza Strip through ongoing massacres around the clock, despite the announced ceasefire.
In its monthly report, the organization explained that the Israeli army and settler militias killed 15 Palestinians in the West Bank during October.
It noted that among the martyrs were three children under the age of 18, in addition to two prisoners who died in Israeli prisons as a result of poor medical care, medical negligence, and torture.
Regarding the distribution of the martyrs across West Bank cities, the organization reported that: 7 were from Jenin Governorate, 3 from Hebron Governorate, 3 from Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, 2 from Nablus Governorate.
The Union for Justice Organization warned of the growing daily attacks carried out by settlers against Palestinian towns and villages.
It pointed out that these assaults resulted in the killing of 26-year-old Jihad Mohammad Ajaj, after a settler opened fire on a group of young men from the village of Deir Jarir near Ramallah.
This brings the number of Palestinians killed by settler gunfire since the beginning of the current year to 13, and since 7 October 2023 to 34 martyrs.
The organization expressed deep concern that settler attacks could become even more deadly and take on the form of mass killings in the West Bank, similar to the 1994 Ibrahimi Mosque massacre in Hebron or the 2015 arson attack on the Dawabsheh family in the village of Duma near Nablus—especially in light of the presence of an extremist Israeli government that provides settlers with protection and immunity.
Last month also witnessed a marked increase in settler attacks against Palestinian villages and towns, coinciding with the start of the olive harvest season. The Union for Justice Organization documented more than 220 different attacks and assaults.
Martyrs of the Prisoners’ Movement
During October, the Union for Justice Organization documented the death of two Palestinian prisoners from the West Bank in Israeli prisons, as a result of the Israeli Prison Service’s continued policy of deliberate medical negligence, in addition to the continued use of torture and severe physical assault against Palestinian detainees.
The two martyrs are: Ahmad Hatem Mohammed Khdeirat (22 years old) from Hebron, who died in an Israeli hospital and had been suffering from diabetes, Mahmoud Talal Abdullah (49 years old) from Jenin refugee camp, who died at Israel’s Assaf Harofeh Hospital.
According to human rights organizations, at least 80 detainees have died in Israeli custody since the beginning of the war on Gaza, while Israel continues to conceal the identities of dozens of martyrs and withhold their bodies.
This period is considered the deadliest in the history of the Palestinian prisoners’ movement since the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. According to documented data from prisoners’ institutions, the number of prisoners whose identities have been confirmed as martyrs since 1967 has reached 317 martyrs.
Meanwhile, the number of prisoners whose bodies are withheld by Israel—both before and after the war—has risen to 88, including 77 withheld after the war.
Child Martyrs
The Union for Justice Organization reported that three children under the age of 18 were killed last month, under circumstances similar to those Israel typically claims—namely, accusations that the children were throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.
The child martyrs are:
Mohammad Bahjat Al-Hallaq (11 years old) from the village of Al-Reihiya near Hebron, who was killed after Israeli soldiers shot him while he was playing football with a group of children.
Mohammed Ahmad Khamees Abu Hnein (18 years old) from New Askar Refugee Camp east of Nablus. Yamen Samid Hamed (15 years old) from the town of Silwad near Ramallah.
Other Palestinians who were killed in October include: Mohammad Ali Yousef Shteiyeh (37 years old) from the village of Kafr Ni’ma near Ramallah, Mohammad Adnan Salameh (25 years old) from Jenin, Mahdi Ahmad Kmail (20 years old) from the town of Qabatiya near Jenin, Mohammad Bassam Tayaha Shaoor (20 years old) from the village of Al-Ramadin near Hebron.
Killing the Husband and Assaulting the Wife
Journalists and eyewitnesses documented an incident last month in which Majed Mohammed Dawood (42 years old) was killed in cold blood after Israeli soldiers shot him at close range in an alley in Al-Ain Refugee Camp west of Nablus. The soldiers left him to bleed without allowing paramedics to reach him, while his wife was beaten and pushed when she tried to save her husband.
Martyr of Livelihood
During October, Saleem Raji Hassan Abu Aisheh (57 years old) from the town of Al-Zababdeh near Jenin joined the list of “Martyrs of Livelihood”—Palestinians killed by Israeli forces while attempting to reach their workplaces inside the territories occupied in 1948. He was severely beaten by Israeli soldiers near the separation wall in the Al-Ram area north of Jerusalem.
Many Palestinian laborers trying to reach their workplaces inside the Green Line face daily violations and assaults by Israeli soldiers, including shootings, lethal or near-lethal beatings, and additional abuse during arrest. They also suffer injuries and fractures while trying to climb over or cross the wall and fences that separate the West Bank from Israel.
Assassinations West of Jenin
Last month witnessed the assassination of three young men by Israeli forces west of Jenin. According to the details of the incident, a special Israeli unit of “mista’aravim” (undercover operatives) infiltrated a mountainous area in the village of Kafr Qud west of Jenin, targeting a cave where the three young men had taken refuge.
The assassination operation resulted in the deaths of: Abdul Wahab Hassan Abdul Wahab ‘Alaqmeh (24 years old), Ziyad Nasser Mohammed Abu Jass (23 years old), Ahmed Azmi Aref Neshrati (29 years old), all from Jenin Refugee Camp.
Over 60,000 Martyrs in Gaza
The killings in the West Bank coincide with the massacres carried out by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, despite the announcement of a fragile ceasefire on the 19th of last month.
The death toll in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on 7 October 2023 until early November has risen to 68,865, the majority of whom are children and women.
The Union for Justice Organization emphasizes that the occupation continues to pose the primary and real danger to the lives of Palestinians, and that the State of Israel continues to violate numerous international agreements and human rights laws, foremost among them the right to life, which is the supreme right.
The organization stressed its deep concern over the ongoing and escalating Israeli violations against Palestinian civilians, carried out with no deterrent or accountability for the Israeli state, which continues to employ direct killings of civilians as a policy.
The organization called on all international parties and human rights bodies to pressure the Israeli occupation to enforce international law protecting civilians during times of war.
